Josef Odložil, Czechoslovakia, middle-distance runner. Josef Odložil was the silver medalist in the 1964 (Tokyo) Olympic Games 1,500m, running 3:39.6 behind the great Kiwi athlete, Peter Snell. In 1965 Odložil set a world record of 5:01.2 in the 2,000m. He died on 10 September 1993.
