1968
Mark Everett, United States, middle-distance runner. Educated at the University of Florida, where he was a two-time NCAA champion. Everett was the bronze medalist in the 800m at the 1991 (Tokyo) World Chaampionships, running 1:44.67. He ran on three U.S. Olympic teams (1988, 1992, and 2000) and set a world record in the indoor 600-yard run in 1992. Everett has won twelve national titles, indoor and outdoor in events ranging in distance from 500 yards to 800m. For some bizarre reason he is not yet in the Florida Track and Field Hall of Fame.

Jaroslav Bába, Czech Republic, high jumper. Jaroslav Bába was the bronze medalist in the men's high jump at the 2004 (Athens) Olympic Games, his leap was 2.34m.
